United Kingdom 2004 Defender 90 Td5 HT Zambezi Silver
Noise
I've just had front wheels rebalanced because I noticed a few missing weights, and I had I vibration through the wheel. Now I've got a massive vibration from 50 and a squeeking noise and walking pace. I definitely need new swivels. But what is the most likely cause of this noise, I'm thinking the prop. Any other places to look?

Ask the garage who carried out the balancing to recheck your wheels. It is not uncommon for tyre fitters to get balancing wrong on large heavy defender wheels. Over the last ten years this has happened twice to me both times with Quick Fit!

Also the squeaking noise may be the brake shield that could have been knocked onto the disc
