Absolutely superb
Would you be ably to share your route information? I'd love to follow your tyre tracks and go see it for myself. How long did it take? Looks like a real adventure. |

^^ Love it Nothing too extreme, but absolutely astonishing nature. Start to get interested...
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

I've been in the Pyrenees in Oct 2012 and Oct 2013 for both 2 weeks and the time was just great. In 2012 I drove from med to Atlanik with my daughter and in 2013 from Atlantic to med on my own.
My 2012 trip was publish in the German magazine ALLRADLER 2/13. All tracks were uploaded to wikiloc and please feel free to take a look: http://de.wikiloc.com/wikiloc/user.do?id=431645 Images from 2013 are also available to give you some impressions: http://flickr.com/gp/27363559@N05/0q89B1/ My blog http://keswicktours.blogspot.de/2014/02/2013-pyrenaen.html shares even more details and in case you have some question just get in contact with me. Best regards, Bernd |

cdsymons/Amondeggs - pleased you made it to the Bardenas Reales Parquel Natural. I know that because you found the 'termite mound', well, that's what we nicknamed it. Isn't it a lovely part of the world? Legal tracks, no hassle ... heaven on earth!
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Jim - don't think they managed to drive the infamous smuggler's route between Spain and Andorra, but if you want to know the route (or anybody else for that matter), then simply PM me. I realise many do, but I personally don't like broadcasting the route on an open forum - that's just me! Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Snapped in October from the top of the smuggler's route on the Spain/Andorra border, this might seem like a daft photo (not a Landy in sight!!!), but ignore our friends in the foreground, instead look directly behind them and you can see the ski runs in Andorra! Yep, it's rather nice. Click image to enlarge Last edited by Tom Mc on 28th Aug 2014 6:25pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Amondeggs & cdsymons - another very envious onlooker here, having done the Pyrenees in a small family hire car some years ago, you have re-kindled my desire to return sometime in my newly acquired MY2010 Puma 90 (well it will be 01st September!)...
Fabulous quality iMages recounting a great adventure, thank you so much for sharing it all here, I'm just off to watch the vid... One question for Amondeggs - what is the colour of your ride, I absolutely love it... |

Chaps
Just stumbled across this thread whist purusing this forum and the Disco 3 forum. We met in the middle of nowhere on about day 2 of your trip - I was in the red Toyota Landcruiser with roof tent with two mates in a silver Defender and a silver D2. Glad you had a great trip and made it home safely! Great pictures. The three of us also had a great time and got back ok. cheers Steve |

Super video and well worth a watch (with the sound down for those not musically inclined!)... Although I couldn't access it on my iPad for some reason... Thanks again for sharing your Pyrenees experiences with us... |
