Just thinking you might want to customise the grill surround yourself later - so many to choose from. Also, what's the point of privacy glass if you can still see in the back?
Is the black roof more expensive than same-colour as the body work? Ditto for the arches? Unless you love sawtooths, again loads of others to choose from (also cheaper). Does seem expensive but then I like to customise to make mine unique. Each to their own Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

I'm with Matt, for the price you could have Landyglass, KBX Premium Grille (or alternatives of your choice) and still have enough for a decent set of wheels/tyres and to get your arches and perhaps roof done. It depends really wether you wish to 'individualise' or get it delivered 'standard with extras.' I think part of the fun is doing it yourself if you have the time and inclination. If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!
Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

I too binned the Black Pack,,
After taking out the Privacy, Contrast roof and alloys,, IIRC it £1200 +, just to paint the Grill, H/Lamp surround, Wheel arches, Dash center and black script on the bonnett I presume Range Rover, D4, Sport etc etc will also have the privacy missing from the rear tailgate glass California F1, 75th 110 "Kermit", 50th Ann V8, 90 V8 Hybrid, 55 Series 1 Main Brian James Trailer Dealer for South West UK |

This "Black Pack" was launched by Land Rover with a big announcement back in March now (on occasion of the Geneva Motor Show where not one single Defender was on display at their stand ).
http://newsroom.jaguarlandrover.com/en-in/...ks_190214/ Has anybody on here taken delivery yet of a Defender with this Black Pack option? I know some have ordered it, but not sure about deliveries. I would be very interested to see pictures of the "Ebony Alston headliner" which is part of that Black Pack option. I also would like to know if Land Rover offer a version suiting Defenders with factory equipped sunroof. Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

With regard to:
Black wheel arches Black grille and surround Erm, don't you get these bits for 'free' when you by a Base spec vehicle? I didn't pay any extra for them when I ordered my base spec hard top anyways. Dealer probably right, seems a bit steep for some cheaper bits of black plastic trim fitted as standard to a lower specced vehicle, a black contrast roof, privacy glass, different alloys. Not forgetting the stickers lol |
