second service-keys
Anyone going in for a second service on their Puma, don't forget to hand in both sets of keys at the service desk. The batteries are sceduled to be changed at the second service. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Anyone know what the DIY method entails without making a Censored of it?

its in the book

But from memory - you split it in half (start at the key ring end - easy with a thin screw driver)

remove battery

Discharge the old fob (press the buttons)

Install new battery

Press the arm a number of times (not always required)

Bob then becomes your uncle. It really isnt hard Mike

I read that in the service sheet but

I'm in my 8th service and probably the main keys have the same battery from new. The 2nd pair is in a drawer and never has been touched by the dealers. I will buy the batteries this week to change it.

Thanks for the reminder Eduardo
