Tent Recommendation
I can recommend the below tent and retailer. I have no connection with them other than as a satisfied customer.

http://www.obelink.co.uk/tents/pyramid-tents/eldorado.html

I bought one last year and this year have managed to use the tent for three separate weeks of camping and we are very happy with it.

I found the retailer to be very good with knowledgeable staff who speak excellent English. I was wary of ordering something unseen online and from abroad so in the end I called the store before placing my order. Delivery was quick and we experienced no problems and everything went like clockwork.

The tent itself we are happy with too. It has exceeded our expectations. It seems to be well made, and is definitely easy to erect. It stands up to weather well and doesn't have the condensation problems we have experienced with plastic tents.

The missus and I a wanted something a bit different that was relatively compact, offered standing room and was easy to erect and take down and pack away, and didn't want to spend a fortune.

We didn't want a polyester tent as hate waking up soaked with condensation like has hitherto happened with the polyester tents we have owned. We were given an ancient secondhand vango force ten which while excellent, wasn't very roomy and offered no sitting inside out of the rain reading space. We looked at various dome type tents, and considered an old school canvas frame tent, but in the end the simplicity of a pyramid type tent won us over.

So there you go. Just need decent weather and time off work to get away now.

I'm afraid I haven't as they're all on my laptop at home and I'm away with work at the moment, sorry.

There's some pictures on theses sites which were ones I have bookmarked on my tablet when I was hunting for reviews of it before purchasing.

It's pretty much the same tent as mine, the groundsheet being the only obvious difference.

Obelink are very well regarded in the UK "glamping" market, excellent supplier, good english and very helpful.

by mistake I ordered the wrong size tent footprint online. Rang them up and it was sorted immediately with no fuss.

we sre on the continent for a month in july and are using a 5m bell tent for very similar reasons. Plenty of space, quick to erect, comfortable and no m8re bulky than a plastic frame tent to pack.

unfortunately the Defender is still in Ethiopia, so am using my UK car, a volvo xc 70 estate.

will give a thumbs up to the elderado...its a dutch storm tent. Its a cross between an a frame tent and a tipee tent, and is blumin quick to put up. Although it has 30 plus lines, depending on the weather, you dont have to bother. will withstand any weather you throw at it, its tough and the inner keeps out the midges. Oooooh and you can put a wood burner etc in it. There are user reviews here : http://www.ukcampsite.co.uk/tents/p/Hypercamp-Eldorado/1699

Its about £250 from obelink. and no i dont work for obelink

Can't beat the smell and atmosphere of a proper canvas tent . I'm using a 9x9 military .
4 camp beds , frontier stove and table all easily accommodated .

The trailer is a bit of an overkill don't you think? We have an Oztent and a Vango that I used to use for mountain marathons.
