For everything (without exception, i think) the dealshership will be the most expensive by a long chalk.
Hence the nickname stealership! |

Don't think this is going to be paintless - scratch has taken off some paint

Obviously the cost depends on how bad it is, but as its on the inside - is it really that bad? Mike

And how perfectly you want it fixed. I've scrubbed a whole load of paint off one corner of my roof (I learned the hard way that a 110 and 90 aren't the same height) and have compressed the metal there too. Personally I'm not worried about it - aluminium and all that. I've also picked up several dings and scrapes in the course of using the LR every day. It still shouldn't cost too much to get it fixed, even if you've gone down to the metal. The great thing about the Defender is that they have wavy body panels and fairly rubbish paint job from new. It's not like a brand new BMW, where every minor scratch requires an entire respray of the whole panel. ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm not suggesting you do that but there is something liberating about knowing you don't have to worry about every scrape and ding. One that started out as a 2.4 TDCi 110 XS + New Defender 110 First Edition |

Thats exactly what my mates say (they offered to do it for me when the 90 was 2 days old
![]() Dont get me wrong - i dont want to scratched to buggary (and annoyed at the dealers when they do it) but leaving them there does make you a little less bothered. Mike |

Believe me my other car is scratched to bits. But my Defender needs to be healed as I feel the pain of the wound myself.
![]() Anyway going to try chips away or similar - havn't had the time to get round to it. |
