If you've ordered in this colour you won't be disappointed. It's one of the nicest colours I've seen coming out of the factory

Now I've seriously considered ordering a new defender to replace the 2011 utility with black pack, all the extras etc and this colour looks great.
However the thought of spending £40k+ on a car like this, with all the same problems I have experienced with my previous defenders, the continual rust issues, risk of theft etc. am really struggling to sign on the dotted line. I think it's replacement my be the better option and the cars coming from LR have been great. There were many sceptics of the new RR but all quickly disappeared when released. The new RRS is great. |

dropped into my local dealer (Morrisons of Stirling) they had a sample of Montalcino Red on one of those car shapes that look nothing like a defender.
However the colour itself looks good, very vibrant and lots of metallic flakes in direct sunlight and a nice deep dark burgundy when out of direct light. I was pleased...so no last minute order changes required! |

Saw a Defender in Montalcino on Thursday, looks stunning - very much a red wine colour.
