Ied: Improvised Explosive Device. Out here they don't use normal land mines but they just strap a load of explosives to a triggering device. Fortunately for us they don't have the capability to do much damage to our vehicles. Glyn |

Cracking update Glyn. Nice to see you in DPM.... need a pic of you draped over the bonnet of a WMIK (preferably wearing a leather hat and some riggers) to complete the set.

Timmy's donuts are lush!!! Am currently concentrating in my transition to civilian life....two job interviews next month... With BK, Pizza Hut and Subway gone I may have had a fighting chance of doing a tour and losing some weight instead of piling it on! Wouldn't rush to the bookies and lay any bets on it though! Glyn's been quiet of late, not posted for a few weeks, even sent him a 'pm' last week. Anyone heard from him? Know he's tour ends next month! If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!! Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!! |

Me I'm Crabfat, Blue Job, Brylcream Boy, For the last 14 years when I've been away I've been travelling in style...been here there and everywhere either with VC10s or for the last 7 years on the C130s.
