That everytime I catch up another car on the Motorway or major A road they take offence at being overtaken by a Defender and put their boot down. Is it just me or does it happen to others. Regularly end up at silly speed to get past only for the other car to drop right back. Worst offenders are Jap 4x4 and BMW X6's (which my Defender now hate's with a passion). Typically the X6 accelerates like mad on the straights then crawls round the corners and begins to wonder wether you've attached a tow rope Original Member Pie n Pea Club.

I find Nissan Navaro's and their freelander equivalent version (name escapes me) are the worst offenders.

It happens down here at the bottom of africa too. I think they're worried that once we get in front we're going to somehow hold them up / delay them with our slowmobiles...
Toyota pick-ups are the worst here, they despise Defenders... www.ralton.co.za |

Like (nearly) everyone else has said, this phenomenon is perfectly normal and nothing to worry about.
