This was mine on 265's, I had 285's on black modular before which looked more purposeful but it drove much worse on them, sapped the power (300tdi)
Click image to enlarge I thought the black mods made it look a bit scruffy too Click image to enlarge Andy Last edited by CFB on 31st May 2014 5:15pm. Edited 1 time in total |

265/75/16 doesn't look small and IMO is a good size to have with a 2" lift.

Is that on a 2 inch lift or standard suspension? |

I have 265/75R16 on black Zu alloys. Does not look too small, but that is my opinion

I'm running 265/70/R16, but that's on standard lift, which I suspect may look a tad small with an extra 2 inches above. An engine to TDi for!

265 are the optimum widest tyre in looks and performance. They handle well on the road, are good off road, don't compromise handling and look good. 285 look good but mess up the on road handling and over gear the engine. I am also nit keen on the look of some 285's on some vehicles almost looking like a Tonka

Here is mine with insa turbo special tracks in 265 form and as said with other tyres in 265 form they sap the power but they are great in the wet really pleased with them
