Replacement door options - 1985 Defender 90
I am looking to buy 2 front replacement doors for my 85 D 90 as the original bottoms are rusted out. Price on a new push button LR for including internal door card, windows regulator is around £750 hence I am looking for options and links to vendors who have cheaper options. Also open to the the original push style doors. I would appreciate any guidance/links from fellow members who have bought replacements doors from vendors who stock these replacement doors.

What Gum said Thumbs Up

I purchased two front door for my TD5 from them. Very pleasant to deal with on the phone and fast delivery.
My local paint shop had no complaints about the quality. Been on the TD5 for almost two years and no problems.

Will my existing windows and manual regulator work with the new push button style door?

I can't see why not. It is the panel from the original door they are attached to that dictates fitment or not.

You may have to check the panel fits the new door, if it does then you should be OK.

These guys go fully galvanised replacement doors for £290: http://www.splandrovers.com/DEFENDER_PUSH_...0030-g.htm

The blurb says they are the same spec as original doors so all bits should transfer from old to new.
