No rubbing yet, previously I could get my clenched fist in the gap, now it's just a finger. Obviously it's not an order of magnitude better, but it is improved it!

If it's this simple to help improve the turning circle then why don't they come like that from the factory? Am I missing something?

Mine was there on one side anyway and quite far off on the other so I was just equalling them up. Guess they're roughly thrown together in the factory.

Don't think it causes any problem for normal driving, but if off roading beware getting heavy wheel spin on full lock as it will cause issues with CV's etc Andy

I thought only early S1s had an actual Tracta joint. Surely LR have progressed on to a UJ and not still using 'Tracta' joints in the front? Harvey |

TBH I am not sure she will ever be subjected to any heavy off-road abuse, maybe some over-lands, but I try and avoid excess spinning unless it is resulting in forward motion. No progress usually means I am just digging in deeper which means even more difficult extraction which each revolution of a wheel Thanks and I will no doubt treat her gently! |
