The 15MY Defender is not on sale yet so the website will not reflect the model year changes at this point.
Many Thanks Mike |

I guess we are splitting hairs here, but any order placed now will be for MY15 production, so the website does not reflect what you can order...

I'm a long way from the "action" in Aus, but I can't see 'em doing a V8 version,.....a few "superficial", "final editions" is what we'll see I reckon. The REALLY, & I mean the REALLY "last" edition, should, & could be, a bit more special, but then again, I don't see any mechanical/engine variations. Pickles. |

Pickles you have only just taken delivery of a new Defender. Are you ordering a brand new one for next year too?
And if you order a new Defender now, with a 12 week delivery time, I'm sure it would still be a MY15 so surely you can still order a Loire Blue one - so why not just get your new Defender a few months early in the colour you want? |

G'day from Aus.
No, Smiles, I won't be ordering a new Defender. We think ours is pretty OK for us. Keswick with an Indus roof is pretty unique, & we really love the spec we have...just love driving "her" (Gracie). However, if a Defender with a V8 WAS made, we would at least consider that, because it would be very special. Having said that, I'm 100% certain that won't happen, on the basis of all the R & D / certification etc etc that would be required, ...and the cost....it would be huge.....way beyond me. I've never been a fan of "cosmetic" stuff, but what happens when ya "put the pedal to the metal",....ALWAYS interests me! Aussie Defenders come pretty well specced up anyway, they have the HD suspension, a/c, stereo with subwoofer etc, & we have, partial leather, cold climate pack, heated seats, side runners, dual finish alloys, & like I said, I think we've got the only Keswick 90 with an Indus roof, which looks very very smart, but is also unique, so I really can't see any advantage in a new one. If you gain the impression that we're REALLY happy with Gracie, you'd be right! However, I can't wait to see what final editions occur, I know you've got black & silver editions in the UK, we've heard nothing about them at all. Pickles. |

@mike, can you confirm (or deny) that ABS will indeed be available as an option on the 130 double cab pickup in the new model year, and are there any option packs for that model in MY15?
Thanks so much! |
