I am travelling along the M56 tonight from Manchester, so if you are using that motorway I should be able to hear you coming with the tyre sound !

Poor thing parked up for the last 2 days.... I'll give it a midweek run to work though to keep it moving!! The Mercedes has no character compared to the old Td5..... but a lot faster and uses half the fuel 2001 Td5 CSW (weekend and snow mobile) Plenty of lights, M/T tyres EGR delete, roofrack, swing away wheel carrier, snorkel.

Drove home last night at 1am during a very active and stunning thunderstorm in N Wales, pure enjoyment, wish that sort of weather was more regular at night.
Today was spent wiring up 2x illuminated switches for the work light and spotlights.. Sounds simple but it took all day - multiple relays, thick wires, heat shrink etc.. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

I sold Bertie the 90 truck cab today. A sad day as it looked really nice but at least I won't have a 110 xs sitting in the car port doing nothing all week.
Time to drive the thing. |

Replaced the 12N towing electrics. Stumbled a bit when none of the colour coding on the wires matched any of the diagrams I had Fortunately, internet to the rescue -- although not actually managed to hitch the trailer up to test it yet. 2009 110 XS Station Wagon
