Yep, it is more black smoke all the time (the fisures in the hoses were quite little so we didnt get any smoke at all). Mine is now repaired provisionally with high resistance tape until the spare arrives (I hope that the volcano doesnt delay the shipment). BTW: Is it possible to replace those turbo hoses by other of better quality? Update:
They're still not happy with the diff they replaced. Something about a locating pin, but the service guy admitted not understanding the mechanics of it all. We're also getting a whole new turbo now they agree the noise is not normal and they don't know what's causing it. It's defo turbo related though. At least they agree on that! IMHO, they're not ******* normal |

Last update before I leave this one alone. Diff locating pin sorted, but the dealers identified what the turbo problem was: watch out for your turbo actuators before you warranties run out, guys.
It sounds to me like a kind of trigger or clutch to the turbo. It was broken and damaged the rest of the turbo. Perhaps the turbo is not as strong as they had hoped. All sorted and back from the dealers. |
