Wow that looks fantastic, I think it may be a little out of my reach this year but I'll have a read through and see what I think. 100k seems rather daunting |

I think it should be good, a couple of our neighbours did it last year and said how well organised it was. It turned out the 2013 event was on the hottest weekend of last year so a reasonable level of fitness is probably a good thing to aim for. Good luck if you do join in. I should imagine that some of the route will be stunning. When wife and I first started going out with each other in 1981, we used to walk up on the Ridgeway. Took my brand new 1983 HiLux 4x4 up there too. Fantastic scenery. Some summer evening walks are just great up there. We were walking down a path once by the side of an old house. There in the window, just a few yards away from us, was a youngish woman completely topless, getting dressed! She obviously figured that so few people walked down that pathway that she was ok to parade about. She never saw us at all. Yes, some lovely views. Now left.
