Wine and food ordered. Brendan told to go buy beer (I don't fancy that amount of weightlifting). I am just off to the kitchen to bake cakes. As I tend to over cater, there might even be spares for defender2 people.

Be there Saturday so will say hello on the way round.
May come away with more than I went for. I must resist the temptation. |

Is that resist the temptation of the cakes - flapjack, apple and sultana muffins, raspberry cupcakes, blackberry and coconut crumble and chocolate summerfruit gateau or the high quality bits we are selling?
Be warned there is no such thing as a free cupcake - you might have to earn it by making us a coffee. Barbara |

You deserve a good slapping Gary! What's wrong with saying you be next to another forum sponsor 4x4 Overlander?? There again there are three forum sponsors in a row. Alive Tuning 4x4Overlander Duckworth Parts Makes it easier for Defender2 forum members to meet up with forum sponsors Brendan |

I can't make it personally, sadly but FCX will be there on the Bell Auto Services (BAS) stand and Rich the Stitch will have plenty of FCX goodies for you to look at and buy

Well, after visiting this morning... I was wholeheartedly unimpressed!
For a supposedly "Family friendly" show, I was surprised to be forced to cross a road to get from the car park to the showground!! Then there was the layout of the ground! I found it a joke! It cost £11 per adult to get in, and wasn't worth half of that! Other commitments meant I couldn't camp this time, whereas I normally would, and my god I'm glad I didn't! I'd seen everything, had something to eat and was back in the car in less than 2 hours! Then there was the car park! The imbecile parking people clearly couldn't judge distance, and the rows were so close together we struggled to get out! Overall, I think the showground was much worse than last years (or even at Driffield), so I really don't see why they moved it! All in all, a waste of a day, a waste of a 4 hour round trip, a waste of £11 per person.... An engine to TDi for! "Land Rover- Proudly turning drivers into mechanics since 1948" |

My thoughts are with the commentator and her family who was involved with some sort of accident this afternoon, although I'm not 100% sure what happened. From what I've heard and been shown, it looked pretty serious? An engine to TDi for!
