Box is for aftermarket strobes and the light is the water trap(?) warning light. It wasn't me!

You TC light shouldn't be off ? Mine goes off after 2 or 3 seconds after switching on. |

My handbrake light was coming on while driving. It also stayed on sometimes when you put the handbrake lever down.
The solution was to spray a little WD40 down the cable (inside the outer casing as it were). I think there was crud in there and the WD40 sorted it out. |

I get this problem in the winter. It's because the rubber gaiter is stiffer in cold weather and the handbrake lever is lifted slightly by the harder rubber.

@albuquerque, I was a bit quick with the camera so as to get all the lights. They do their self test bit then all you get left with when the engine is running is the abs light until you move off and maybe the brake warning light if your handbrake is on.

My hand brake light was staying on. I could solve by pushing the handbrake lever right down but it felt springy. However, the source of the problem was with the cable in the drum. Over time the plastic sheathing on the cable rucks up and gets caught on the spring in the drum preventing it from returning to the completely "off "location hence why the lever would not drop right down. It also meant that at times the transmission brake was dragging just slightly. I fitted a new cable, adjusted and all is good both in the cab and no dragging. Blott
