Spring Adventure: Harrogate - 17th & 18th May
Well its that tie of year again folks, for the first 'major' show of the season: The Spring Adventure! Mr. Green
This year its being held at Ripley Castle, just outside of Harrogate and is being sponsored by Ripon Land Rover (A nice dealer I must add!).
Looking at the exhibitor list so far, it looks to be a nice show. Unfortunately (due to having to take the LR for a service on the Saturday) I won't be camping this year but I'll be there on the Sunday.

Tickets are priced as follows:
Adult- £11.00
Child- £5.00
(Day tickets)

I fancy going to this.

I've only been to one show actually and that was ages ago.

I actually quite fancy having a go on one of the RTI ramps they seem to have - anyone tell me how you get to try ? Do you need to book or be early or ...?

If your on a club stand or camping then you should be able to have a go as long as your truck is on the show site not in the car park Thumbs Up

Thank you !

Though I wouldn't be camping or on a club stand Sad

I might drop them a line and see if they can help.

Yorkshire Off Road Club have a stand, if you can't find it, ask Brendan !

If you want to see what organised, cheap, grass roots off road Motorsport is available to you and your Defender that's the stand to visit. http://www.yorkshireoffroadclub.net/

Weather forecast is for it to be drier and warmer for that weekend Thumbs Up

Yorkshire Off Road Club??? Who are they? Razz

Yes we are members Thumbs Up Members do everything from long overland trips, (Dave and Pam are out in Australia at the moment) winch challenge events such as Muddy Truckers etc, to RTV (Road Tax vehicle trials) YORC has a policy of vehicles being driven to and from an RTV as they are basically non damaging. Green laning weekends are arranged as well.

So either find the YORC stand or have a few words with us.
