I find the extras never increase the value of the car ,px values are usually based on the standard model

Hi Andy
Sorry to see your 110 didn't sell, if you're putting the parts up on here I'd be interested in the Trucklites Cheers John 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon 1971 Bowler Tomcat 88 4.2 V8 Auto 2022 110 D250 XS Edition - Gone 2024 110 D250 X-Dynamic HSE |

It's quite shocking really, I know motors deprecate but £34k down to £23995 in 4 months !!! Really. plus looking at new d4 talk about looking after your customers repeat custom etc..
Again I was prepared for a sting but wanted to change to something more comfortable so D4 seemed good choice but not £10000 ouch |

I was on the other side of the fence, went in 2 weeks ago for a new td5 flywheel ended up with a 62 plate 110XS SW with a warn winch and other upgrades for £20k + vat. The newer models seem to be slipping in value but the td5s are quite static in depreciation terms. 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

And it would be back on the pitch for 29995 .
It seems to level off after about 3 years. Having come from a sport and Ff, I was hoping the depreciation would be less . Long term the defender would hold better value , but early ownership, sadly not. |

Trouble with asking top dollar for a nearly new Defender at the moment is the fact you can walk into a dealership and get a brand new vehicle for very little more... Anyone can get 10% discount if they try.
Once the availability dries up the value will stabilise New LEZ compliant trucks will hold value in coming years When you are ready, I may be interested in the sump protector and front seat covers... Condition and price dependant. |

Unfortunately that huge decal on the roof might scare off a lot of potential purchasers - Can't imagine a lot of Scots would want that spec of Defender parked outside their house in the run up to the 'independence' vote in September. Wonder if Pickles and his fellow Australians will have to redesign their flag if the Union Jack ceases to exist. Meanwhile Land Rover can redesign all their marketing materials with the flag of St George and 'Made in England'. |
