I have an eclectic mix, took some from the Eddie Stobbart CD (yeah i know but there are some good ones on there) I also just select odd tracks from my collection, stick them on the iPhone and stream through the car stereo or earphones if i'm on the bike. I also use the 'shuffle' option so you don't know what is coming next Thumbs Up

Here's the very best Dutch language trucking song. 1978, this was a real hit, and still heard occasionally now...

For the non-Dutch speakers here is an automatic translation of the lyrics Thumbs Up

With the flame in the pipe , I tear through the Brenner Pass
With my thirty tons of diesel , far from home , but in my sas
With the flame in the pipe , through the endless night
And then I got to thinking about my wife waiting for me

It 's okay to drive here , so many nights away from you
Because my truck will get me through the fog and the cold
When I 'm at home , you will say , stay a little longer when it comes
And you know , I 'd love to, but that's something that does not exist

With the flame in the pipe , I tear through the Brenner Pass
With my thirty tons of diesel , far from home , but in my sas
With the flame in the pipe , through the endless night
And then I got to thinking about my wife waiting for me

For a moment I stop at a rest area along the endless path
How many times I 've stopped here , so just know that the moon
And the weekends I 'm home , will for us it is the end
Because I am so long away from home , our life seems like a chorus..... You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.
