Nice van. I love T5s and would have another tomorrow if I could warrant it.
Just as stolen as Defenders though so keep it secure. They broke into my house and took the keys for mine, as well as the keys to my 2 year old Golf GTi. Sad times waking up that morning!!! Like Defenders they can be a a dream to play with. If I had another I'd go for the 4Motion 180bhp with some banded steels and BFG A/Ts. Not for off reading or landing but for the snow days and fields I occasionally go in. Mine was the 174bhp, converted to a kombi with removable seats so I could carry 1 passenger and 2 motorbikes or 2 passengers and 1 bike. 'Big Vern' as bought. 2 weeks before Big Vern was stolen I swapped the steering wheel for a Golf GTi one and had a carbon fibre bonnet wrap. Good luck with yours!!!!! Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Strong people are harder to kill and generally more useful! |

Loved my T5 Sportline too, didn't love having to put a new engine in it after nineteen thousand miles

Nice van you had too. The t5 is so nice to sit in and drive its a great everyday van/car. Mine is a factory kombi swb 2.5 tdi 130 6 speed box. They are just like defenders as in prices and are as popular. Mine has got 2 captains seats up front with twin armrest, then 3 removable seats in middle.

We had a T25 Camper which was lovely to drive. I hope to have a T5 one day (as well as the Defender).
