LR's own, pricey but fit perfectly and very durable. You only have one life, live it....forget the cost.

We have Tough Covers on our farm Defender. They seem pretty durable, they don't come un-stuck and you don't notice your sat on something odd. They aren't that close fitting though.

I've got INKA one's on my XS 90 - black, very good fit (best I've seen) with LR logo embossed on them - they were £60 from INKA website, also on ebay (type in inka defender seat covers). I understand these are the same manufacturer as the LR ones, just much cheaper! 1959 Series 2 Ragtop

^^I know INKA used to supply Genuine LR, but I'm not 100% sure whether they still do. That said however, they are absolutely brilliant, and I've got 3 sets (Disco4, FL2, and one to go in the Defender at some point). An engine to TDi for!

For hand made tailored seat covers I use sb seat covers at stockport
They trade on fleabay as van seat covers. Quality is long lived and if you collect them they will even fit them for. Did my d3 d4 works vans etc Just ordered a new set for new works van.the last set was still in good conidton after 160000 miles of daily use Last edited by Mdm on 4th May 2014 8:37am. Hi 2dae, Mdm, and Littlefoot,
Appreciate your replies. Have made some progress (some of it forwards, some of it backwards!!) on this. I really liked the look of the Inka covers. Went with my first thoughts though having found a good delivered price off Ebay for new Britpart covers. I'd read some good positive posts on these. However, when they arrived the fit was wayyyyy too tight for my liking and very hard inflexible material. Would have had to use a shoehorn to cram the seat bases in......so I decided not too and arranged to send them back. Supplier was great and has refunded. So.......have done a deal on new genuine LandRover ones through my dealer. Quality looks great and they're certainly a better looking prospect than the inflexible Britpart ones. We'll see. Landy away at the mo so will fit next week. Still impressed with the look of the Inka's though especially at the price. |

I bought some from LI Upholstery which were at the Donington Show a few months back, they are probably the best seat covers I've seen, much better than they look on their website, if you see some at a show then take a look. They're not the cheapest but people who've been in my Defender have made comments about how well they look and fit. They do a few different styles and colours. I'll try and upload a pic tomorrow.
