Hi Tim,
I've just joined the forum while looking for more Defender folks in Switzerland. My wife and I are just outside Geneva and also looking forward to exploring more of the area (will drop you a PM with our details). Here are a few photos from a few weeks ago at a campsite in Interlaken: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Thanks all!
Look forward to meeting, Tim bpman- thanks for the tips!
Where is Freddie Marine? There's a nice Land Rover shop in Gland (Pascal Hidber LR) there that I go to. Good suggestion on the 4x4 shop by autobritt as well, that is where I picked up my off road tent- and headed back there this morning for more |

Thanks bpman! Will plan to drop by there soon.
Myself/my wife enjoyed our impromptu meetup with Zouritte and DavidITGuru this evening. Looking forward to meeting more folks in the area and of course planning a few weekend drives. Grabbed a few pictures of the three defenders together: Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Never a new one this side of the country!
Well if you know of any LR folk around Graubunden, (that would include St Moritz, which is over the mountains on the Italian speaking side) ... let me know. I'm in Chur. Long long story but have UK TD5 90 here that I am trying to register ... but no, they say. My other car is (110 hi cap) .. in Oz. Sold the much modified 110 2.8, in Oz Brought the 90 home from Switzerland ... |

Hi, reviving an old thread but I am in Arzier above Gland / Nyon and would love to meet fellow LR nuts. I get along great with pascal hidber from the Land Rover garage in gland ( fixed up a couple old 90's for him in NATO green) but other than that have not really come across any others.

Hi Arran
Always looking for stuff to do. Regulalry visit family in Geneva and always rampaging around the 74 and further afield. If you're ever Chamonix/St Gervais/Megeve way, don't hesitate to contact me. Pop a PM and I'll pass on email and mobile. In summer, as mentioned to Alps Andy, looking for fellow Def/Bike nuts (or those with Defenders who like an excuse for a road trip and lots of beer and BBq) to go to Mont Ventoux for the Tour de France this year. Amazing fun!! And it's coming to my home town as well, Saint Gervais (21st July), so town will be heaving and beer will be enjoyed. Finally tyr and track down my thread on the UTMB safety vehicle off roading I do each year. Likely looking for volunteers for this year's event in August....Do get in touch for any/all of the above. Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

Hi grenadier, Definitely will, am in Chamonix allot so will get in touch, are there any areas where you can legally offroad around there? Met a few kids this weekend who bought my ARB and they all said that all land rovers can attend the series events Bier on the Swiss military's tank playground (on of there fathers is the club president) They will send me more info. I will lookup the UTMB but sounds like it may be of interest.
