I made the same change 3 weeks ago and find the ride quality smoother & far more comfortable. With good road holding in wet conditions.

Have you thought about Cooper AT3's? I've seen some good reviews, it's strange but 265's are better value than 235's on here for some reason

Can't say much for wear, as they only went on in January but since then has made a massive improvement to my 110.

No Spacers, Not sure on offset of wheels but can assume it has some (where is it stamped?)

England 2003 Defender 110 Td5 SW Belize Green
Hi,

I just joined this forum and found this thread. I recently bought a 110 TD5 2003 that has GG At2 tyres. I have uploaded a picture (hopefully).

So far they've been good with no excessive road noise. Also coped easily with 2 adults, 5 children and 1 dog in the car on rough ground Smile

Hope this helps Smile

General Grabber AT2 are still available in quite a few sizes, we always have good stock especially of the 235/85x16 and 265/75x16.

IMHO one of the very best all round tyres on the market and my choice on my Defenders.

I f you need a forum price please call and speak to me.

Andy.

P.S. We carry the biggest choice of 4x4 tyres in the South East and are happy to sell any make of tyre. Thumbs Up Andy.

I've just ordered Avon Ranger ATTs from Camskill for £82 each - £35 per tyre cheaper than Black Circles. Reviews are good so it might be worth checking out Thumbs Up

another thumbs up for AT2s here, used them on a fair few defenders.
Seem to be a match for BFG ATs for fairly normal usage - I don't do many Baja style events Laughing
And they're priced nicely and seem to wear very slowly.
I've had some nasty experiences with ageing TRs, 3 vehicles with bulging TRs and perishing sidewalls.

AT2s on my old tipper in 285 75 16 guise:-

I bought Cooper AT3's for my 90.
Very pleased with them.
Cost me £500 for 4 new rims and tyres.
