Hi bear - I fitted 12" (300mm) PIAA blades. They are not easy to find over here so I got them from the States via Ebay. They work well as a wiper and run smoothly and quietly on the screen even when dry, but they don't work as well on a Defender as they do on normal cars. On a normal car with a raked windscreen the flow of air drives the water off the screen, significantly reducing the need to use wipers. On the Defender, with it's brick like aerodynamics, the water just dances about on the screen. I think they are a great addition to any car. http://defender90xs.blogspot.co.uk/ |
