Had a moment of patting the dash in appreciation today, I'm a landscaper so use and abuse her, everyday crammed with tools, dogs and gear, towing trailers, chippers, materials, on and off road, then last night above and beyond as it were...

Click image to enlarge She is a thing of beauty... Given everything a clean this avo as pics made me realise how filthy they all were!!! Kraut, she does indeed have the brook lands kit being a late soft dash 4.2, the economical one... I made no inspection whatsoever as I bought totally blind from eBay, description was year, mileage, no tax or test, bit rusty, black... No pictures either, so I had to bid. As a result she was ridiculously cheap and, after going over her tonight a very, very good buy with lots of expenditure... The seven years she has sat has worn well...! The doublecab is a real landy, has a spider living in her, kids love it, mucked out with petrol leaf blower, you get the gist... Made the rack up last summer when I injured my hand, made some nifty rear corner bumpers that the twin ladders come down to, and very strong and useful it is.. Realise I still need to get my steel grille/ spot bar back from powder coaters, and sort an awning. Love 'em Cheers. Alex |

Wow, even a rare softdash! They start to become more and more expensive. Seen some perfect softdashes in Germany for between 20 and 30 thousand € ! She is just a perfect classic. I have been to stupid to hold mine, spend a lot of money on her for restauration (alu rear window frame, new air suspension...) and in the end I sold her for a good price. I would never do this again, I just love these LSEs. What interior colour has yours?
