Hi Chris / Jim
Yep there back, received an email from Herts Police asking for information see below White Subaru Impreza Estate - Of Interest To Police Dear Watch Member, Hello In the early hours of 20/04/2014 a white Subaru Impreza was involved in a theft of Land Rover in the Wareside area, this vehicle has no specific index plate but the attached image is very accurate but not the vehicle. We need to trace this vehicle ASAP and speak to the occupants, the vehicle made off from officers. It is believed to be coming into the area from Essex but this isn't confirmed. Can all watch members and local residents be made aware. If any vehicle that looks similar is spotted can Police be called on 101 immediately or 999 if an emergency so we can try and locate the vehicle. Regards East Herts Neighbourhood Team Looks like they took one from Wareside the same evening as they tried to take the one from Ware, Matt |

"no specific index plate" and "made off from officers"...
I'm guessing they didn't get the index, or it was fake. |

Work has a contract yard in Waltham Abbey and the stole fuel from 7 transits in the yard over the weekend, damaging the pipework in the process.

It's possibly an '06' plate Impreza - but like you say, could be false plates. Td5 110 HD Hardtop.......not quite standard
