Mine arrived next day too! Great service.

Haven't had a chance to fit it yet as wagon STILL with repairers but assume its a DIY fit.

If anyone has any tips please let me know via pm.

Cheers

Fitted my Data Tag over the Easter Weekend very easy to fit all doors, bonnet marked. Transponders in upholstery and behind dash, data dots dabbed all over the car. Form filled in and posted.

Feel a bit daft asking this question as I am sure I have read the instructions correctly!?

The etching fluid doesn't seem to dry or is it an absolute no go trying to etch onto painted surfaces?

Daft question maybe but are you using the clear fluid in the little bottle and not the bottle with hundreds of black dots in?

I have had no trouble with the etching fluid, first clean the area with Meths to remove any wax or polish, then stick the transfer on, wait two minutes for the adhesive to cure, then using the little white cotton bud type applicator gently go over the transfer, do not leave for more than thirty seconds, then remove the transfer.

You may find that some of the white plastic from the transfer has stuck to the etching fluid but a quick wipe with a rag and a little meths immediately removes it. After a short period the etching fluid drys and becomes invisible.

I have used the etching fluid on both Land Rover two pack paint, water based coat and Acrylic Lacquer and cellulose and had no problems.

Thanks for the reply - apologies but all good now I had wrongly assumed it actually etched into the paintwork instead of going uv if that makes sense!?

I know what you mean but it is supposed to be invisible except under UV that way the scroats cant find it and paint over it, unless of course they go all over the car with a UV light that is why you have th transponders and the data dots hopefully to much trouble to remove them all so they just walk away.
