The Badger...
I mean, they might as well replicate the original Defender's story in following US military endeavours. In any case the Badger ticks the right boxes: * Versatility * Simplicity * Field repairability * Capability Those to me are the essence of what a Defender should be about. Just googled it and there are loads of Military vehicles named 'Badger.' Could just imagine trundling off to do some shopping or collecting my 7 year old in an 8x8 vehicle.

Don't get me wrong, I don't think a future Defender should look like the Badger, but the engineering brief is pretty much spot on. |

Sod it I'll have to stick with my Defender! **Edit** Thanks Tiger link works! Still got a hell of a long long way to go for it to be marketable to the civilian populous I would say, but it must be more than capable if the US Military are trialling it.
