Axle Twisting, Fords & Tight Lanes in Shropshire
I did my first day in Shropshire last weekend. I had always avoided it, despite it only being a few hours from home, because people said it was flat and a bit dull.

We got lucky with the weather and I have to say it was a really good day out. Everything I love about green laning. Not all severe climbs and challenges at every turn, although there were a few, but fantastic scenery, great and varied lanes and hardly any tarmac in-between.

What really made it for me was just how nice all the locals were. 3 or 4 people stopped us for a chat and the horse riders we ran into were everything those in the Peaks are not and kind of confirmed my opinion of the ‘Peaks attitude’

Once again great videos mate, I always take the time to watch these if I can. Thumbs Up
You ought to come down my way North Somerset, there are plenty that are interesting.
Some are UCR's though so not sure if that'd be suitable?
Could give you some locations etc if need be on my local patch.

I'd love to do that. Have to make it a few days worth though or tag it onto another area to come that distance. Always interested in seeing new places though! Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.

Only trouble is there can be some good lanes but they are in bits and pieces.
Some gems though too, and some pretty extreme. Shocked
Couple of examples, taken a couple of years ago and a couple just a month or two ago.

ellebarto. Hello from downunder (but I used to live in Manchester!),...another top video mate, a bit of a "lean" in those lanes?....no worries about tipping over?
Very good, Pickles.

I think the camera may have played some tricks. Although there were definitely a few leans they all look more extreme than I remember them at the time. I think because the banks were so high either side it felt like you couldn't tip Check out my YouTube channel for green laning and Land Rover "how to" videos.
