[For Sale] Laycorn, Hardigg & Roof Storage Boxes
I have some Laycorn boxes for sale, these fit between the wheel arches in the back of a Defender, the lids are removed by undoing 3 quick release fasteners. Very strong boxes in very good condition with only storage damage. I can post but please send me your postcode for a price. The bodies are Resin and the lids are aluminum, they come with 2 plywood shelves £25

I also currently have a selection of Hardigg cases, all used ex army but in good condition, They all are waterproof with multiple latches, ideal for mounting on roof racks. Some lids are hinged and some remove completely.

Hi, can you tell me if the Laycorn box can lie on its back, and not stick up too much above the wheel arches? So rather than using shelves, they are simply compartments? If there are any other reasons it would not be possible to use this box flat down, rather than standing up, please let me know, because I am probably interested! 1998 110 300Tdi White Hard Top

Will the Laycorn box fit between older CSW rear benches? They have a metal frame that sticks out a little.

The seats in my old 90 are RX8, i fitted them. Really nice seats, they fit ok the runners need a lot of brackets and lugs cutting off. The seat runners are not quite the same spacing as a Defender but I fitted them using the old Exmoor trim seat risers the ones that come in 2 pieces. I have some more pics if you want to see them

Hi MRD

I think you should be OK as they fitted in the back of my 90 with rear benches and soundproofing on the rear wheel arch tubs. If you want to measure your car I can give you an exact size of the box.

Here's the dimension. - The actual seat can squash to 70cm if needed. My own homemade box in the background..
