You drive a Defender, but an Evoque drives you. :/

I drove one a couple of days after launch, I was delivering it to the docks for export but had a quick spin around the dock. Lovely thing and well put together indeed, and no doubt cutting-edge technology, but totally soulless. I find most cars like that anyway. I wouldn't swap my Defender for anything. 2011 110 USW

Agreed. I use my Defender as a daily drive in peak hour mayhem and as chunky as it is in traffic, I wouldn't swap it for the wife's little run around for quids. As Defenders are not very common in Australia, other drivers seem to tolerate and almost respect my slow meandering off from the lights and no doubt look on longingly, dreaming about hitting the outback in such a fine rig. Sometimes It is better to ask for forgiveness, than to ask for permission.

G'Day Braydog from another 90 owner in sunny downtown Aspendale, what suburb are you in?
Cheers, Pickles.

I saw the new baby disco today on test in Banbury. It was LHD and covered in camouflage. It looked like a boxier Evoque to me. I was surprised how small it was

I commute in my 90 to MK, I find that it keeps up really well with traffic and I'm not the slowest vehicle through or between all the roundabouts.
It does make people wonder at times! Darren

You made the right choice, I had a new rr sport from land rover assist, for a week, yes fantastic drive, every gadget under the sun. The novelty wore off within a few days and the amount of electronic gizmos scared me to death. I pined for my defender back. I think it's in your blood, you love them or hate them.
Get it re - mapped and it will make the commute smoother and quicker and put a bigger grin on your face !!!
I commute everyday in mine and would never swap for anything else at the minute.

Oh and everybody seemed to hate me in a rr, talk about generating road rage, nearly as bad as the Audi hatred !!!

I'd Skytag it ASAP. Disklok is good but is somewhat impractical to take everywhere.

I got mine through FCX who are doing a deal I believe still.

Yes, still doing a deal on Skytag, PM me for details Thumbs Up

Heh, same here with our 110 -- on the day's when I can prize the keys out of my wife's hands. Shame the multi-storey near the station isn't a bit roomier.
