90miles from new, engine light and limp home mode!
Anyone seen code 'P132B-22 turbo boost control a performance' before?

Brand new puma, 90miles and 2 days old; driving along yesterday at 60mph on a flat level road, nothing in the car and not towing and suddenly lost performance and see the MIL light has come on.

Kinda assumed the turbo hose, but checked it and all looked good. LR assist came out today and also couldn't find a problem with the hose. He said it was also a newer version of the hose than he'd seen before- this has 2 metal brackets; one holding it away from the alternator and one stopping it rubbing on the fan cowling.

The above code showed only, nothing about MAF and the engine isn't making any whistling noises so I'm thinking it's likely to be the actuator?

Anyway, it's back with the dealer now and I had to run the gauntlet of enterprise.. Ended up with a seat Leon, not the LR product promised by the dealership- does anyone ever get et an LR from enterprise??

Not the best start to ownership Sad

So your brand new Defender is already off the road and they've put you in a Seat Leon???? Shocked

Not sure I would have accepted that...

keep in mind you can reject the vehicle by law, keep a diary of failures, LR make some good defenders except on friday afternoons.

All 2.2 owners can expect a recall for the new bracket I believe

My dad had a Disco 4 while his FL2 was in for a check via LR Assitance... So it is possible!

Well it's back with me now. They cleared the faults and test drove and the code hasn't come back. They also said they checked the actuator over.

Between myself and the garage we've put about 60miles on it since they reset the codes and the fault has yet to reappear.

Fingers crossed it was just teething problems Smile

Pleased you got it back at it seems OK at the moment. Sorry to tell you that Enterprise gave me a Rangr Rover SportHSE when mine went in for a new transfer box. Did not want to give it back!
