Having your tent as a roof tent, is it not a bit restricting, whenever you want to go anywhere you have to pack away your tent and secure it, with a ground oztent , just zip it up go on your journey & come back to it all set up& ready Question

Very much depends on the sort of trip you're on. Both have their pro's and con's. Darren

Jeeves, you need to speak to Brendan of 4x4 Overlander, site sponsor, he'll be able to tell you if there are any plans to import these tents into the uk, he deals in all Oz tents and furniture

I like to travel a lot on my holidays. Therefore I find a rooftent immensely convenient. It's starting to be a pain setting up camp in the evening and breaking it up again the morning after. I only sleep in the tent, so I'd only open it up just before bedtime. For others who want to use their tent as a living space during the day It might be less convenient.
