Having your tent as a roof tent, is it not a bit restricting, whenever you want to go anywhere you have to pack away your tent and secure it, with a ground oztent , just zip it up go on your journey & come back to it all set up& ready

Very much depends on the sort of trip you're on. Both have their pro's and con's. Darren

I agree & I certainly liked the idea of a roof tent, but for practibility I went for the oztent RV4

I like to travel a lot on my holidays. Therefore I find a rooftent immensely convenient. It's starting to be a pain setting up camp in the evening and breaking it up again the morning after. I only sleep in the tent, so I'd only open it up just before bedtime. For others who want to use their tent as a living space during the day It might be less convenient. |
