Disable alarm when truck is accidentally lock with a door op
Does anyone know if there is a way of disabling the alarm from sounding when you accidentally lock the truck with a door open? It's very easy to have the keys in your pocket and when moving kit about in the back of the truck for it to go off.... causing the horn to sound - normally for me at 2am or when setting off for a stalk Embarassed

I know on a Td5 if you have access to a Nanocom or the like you can disable the mislock warning sound, I'd be very surprised if it couldn't be the same on a Puma.

Disabling the alarm generally would be useful. As sometimes I may need to lock the dogs in the rear for short durations, and at the mo this is not possible as far as i am aware?

As far as I was aware, if you locked the motor with one turn of the key in the drivers door then you set the perimeter alarm and immobiliser but not the volumetric part, the part that movement inside the vehicle sets off the alarm.

Have a read here http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic7681.h...tric+alarm

There is also a tip about taping over the sensor and using the remote as normal.
