I ditched CDs went to streaming with a mech less HU with a vehicle that vibrates it makes sense

My factory fit CD player skips mostly on the early tracks of a disc for some reason !
Logic would dictate that the centre of the vehicle would be the area of least pitch and yaw so as near centre as is practicle. 2005 Td5 90 XS Steve |

I'm happy to send you a CD sized piece of 1/4" Dynaliner (adhesive-backed sound deadener) to help absorb the vibration but I've no idea where you could put the machine itself. 2003 Td5 110 Hardtop

Thanks to all for advice, looks like I may experiment with some rubber bobbins as suggested I`ve go lots of these from changing cat walks on trucks.
It may also find its way into the cubby box as it`s almost the centre of the car. If all else fails my lad is in the process of buying an alfa romeo mito, which comes with all the whistles and bells so there may be a new car stereo with all the blue tooth usb fancy bits going cheap. Maybe between the pair of us we could have a competition. Which one will go wrong first looks like the other halfs peuegot maybe the best of the bunch... |
