2008 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS CSW Java Black

chassis cross member under the gear box

help please.

just been under my car and noticed that the cross member between the chassis crossing under the gearbox has a A frame on the top that sits about a inch from the gear box has a hold about 10mm and the gear box directly above has a hole about the same size threaded.... now am i missing a bolt?

Ha,ha,NO,that "hole" was put there by LR engineers for the lulz.It doesn't appear to be for anythin. Pov.spec,ftw. 2006, 110,TD5.

Cheers..... I did think it would be strange that "it just fell out"

So land rover built this A frame and hole on the gear box to perfectly align and that was as far as they got??? TYPICAL
