^^ I enjoy nothing more than long motorway trips in the defender, especially if it's sunny..

Cheers
You just reminded me what to do with the second RAM mount ball - back of the cubby Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Well Tiger, you can always a Ram mount which attaches to the head rest bars so iPad will be directly in front of the kids.

I guess it's a sign of the newer screen quality that you can get away with one - I remember the kids used to all be fighting who sat where with the old laptop - the viewing angle was f ing awful
p.s. Tiger - the bungee is a bloody good idea Tell someone you love them today because life is short. But shout it at them in German because life is also terrifying and confusing... |

Yesterday did recovery (along with another crew) on Anglesey Race circuit. Did one straight tow, a C1 with a bust drive shaft. The 2nd one was the other crew. A car was broken down on the grass section so they pulled on to the grass to spec lift the front of the car. Driving on and realised the wetness of the grass and the rear wheels just span. (1996 ex LDV AA breakdown truck)
So, we towed the car onto the tarmac and then went back onto the grass with the 110 and Harvey frost crane and attached a rope to the front of the LDV and the rope onto the rear of the Harvey and proceeded to try and extract the stuck LDV, all going well until the 110 started spinning and launching mud over the Harvey but mainly over the front of the LDV. It took a few goes to get the LDV extracted but we did it. All in all a good day 1999 Defender TD5 110 Regards John M0VAZ Econet Station 48 no clock |

Did two tip runs in the 110. First was a 3 piece suite all fitting into the back of the 110 and the 2nd was carpet, book case, corner unit and a bucket of garden waste. 1999 Defender TD5 110
