Help - Defender 300TDI/R380 Slave Cylinder, Derby / Stoke
Hi All,

This is a bit of a lang shot, but as everywhere local that I can find is closed, I'm a little stuck.

Couple months ago I stuck a brand new TRW Master and Slave cylinder on my Defender 90 300TDI/R380.

It seems that in this short time, the slave has once again gone!

I haven't checked 100% yet as I've jut pulled in, but clutch felt bad all the way home. Fluid has gone. Refilled, then pumped and got some feeling back, then tried resting foot on pedal and it slowly went to the floor and got stuck down there. Did it a further 3 times and the reservoir was empty again. So it's pumping the fluid straight out somewhere.

Everywhere looks dry except, as before, the wading hole has some fresh oil all around it and tastes like Dot 4!

So I'm wondering if there's anyone local to the Derby/Burton/Uttoxeter/Stoke area that may have one on their shelf, they would be willing to part company with at cost. Could possibly collect if I can keep the truck going, or if local, then would cover fuel and time if it could be delivered.

Bit of a long shot, but worth the question!

Kind regards to all,

Luke.
