United Kingdom 2008 Defender 110 BMW M57 3.0 Diesel XS CSW Auto Santorini Black
Just fitted a set of performance springs from Alive, with their uprated ARB to my 110. I already had Bilstein B6 shocks. What a difference! Corners well and feels more stable on the dual carriageways etc ..

If anything it looks a little low at the rear, so may have to find some -1'' springs rather than the -2'' ones.

I have just done this to my 90. Alive Tuning 1 inch drop springs and Bilstien shocks. Also Alive Tuning Anti Roll Bar.

I was thinking it would sit level, but the gap between each arch and the tyre is different everywhere. Normal springs are sided to give higher on the driver side. Im hoping the Alive ones weren't, and I've put them on the wrong sides....

There wer no markings other than from / back so I hope not.

First short drive, and an amazing difference. The old ones had 93000 miles on them and were done for, so i guess it should be better regardless. The hideous wallowing is gone, and feels much more grounded and smooth controlled ride.

I narrowly avoided punching myself in the face in the process, it seems i got lucky !
