some valves have this problem with the expansion and contraction due to the heat changes, ptfe will certainly do the job, don't be afraid to tighten the nut with some force, just don't go mad Shocked
check all your valves when cold and when hot, some only leak when heating off and some when on Confused
and some will leak through the packing gland and dry the leak at the same time Evil or Very Mad
