My other task this weekend was to find the source of the leaking washer pipe. When you cleaned the windows water came in through the passanger "flap vent" and filled the little shelf below!!
Actually it was quite easy - I just needed to remove the top of the dash where the ashtray is to get access to the pipework (also with windscreen motor and gears which I gave a little oil!)
I found that the pipe was split - I think it must have been trapped in the opening of the air "flap"
Easiest repair was to cut out the section with the split and join the 2 pipes with a little plastic joiner. Tie wrap the pipe to the wiper gearing so that it doesn't get caught in the flap again!
Job done - cath will be happy - she won't get a free shower any more!! 2003 90 XS SW
