Am I missing fuse
Okay I may have missed a post about this already but I seem to have a fuse missing in the secondary fuse box (under dash) on the first row (right hand side) half way down. It has a picture of an engine with a electrical flash going across it, can not recall the fuse number. Any ideas if it should be missing and what it is for Question 90 & Wolf

Have you had a look in the handbook? As you've got a new vehicle and, presumably, everything works, there's probably not much to worry about. Darren

Indeed I have looked but in true JLR fashion no informative information on fuses is present Exclamation I think all is functional but the engine is rough and is different every time it is driven from startup. I wondered if this missing fuse is in anyway related to this Question 90 & Wolf

In that case, take it back to the dealer. Darren

Thank you, but a dealer visit is not an option I have available to me right now. I am a fair few hundred miles and ferry journey away from one. I guess putting a fuse in the gap is worth a try.... What's the worst that could happen? 90 & Wolf

Not much, really. If the fuse isn't needed then nothing will happen. If it is then you will have solved the problem (of the missing fuse - not necessarily the engine). Darren

A bit of digging for wiring doagrams with Google suggests that your missing fuse may be to provide power to the MAF, so it might well be the cause of your engine problems after all. Stick a 5 amp fuse in and see how it goes. Darren

Shocked

When the dealer checked the car for delivery, shouldn't they have felt it wasn't sounding and feeling normal? MAF has quite en impact on how smooth your engine runs...

Bow down I will get a fuse as to my astonishment there are no spare ones under the seat! I did have a box with some in but the roof box seems to have eaten them Whistle Once I have borrowed / stolen one from an unsuspecting donor I will test it. Thank you LR Anorak as it may well be why it is running rough if it is the MAF Thumbs Up 90 & Wolf
