Spotted the rectangular grommets yesterday evening - was looking for round ones lower down Rolling Eyes

I don't really want to cable tie around the RAI - has anyone tried adhesive cable tie mounts, will they take the punishment? My Disco 'best bits'

So I want to install a light bar to my soft A frame. The wiring should be about the same, but I chickened out and got a KC Highlights loom Very Happy I don't think I have the patience to make one from scratch!
Where would I run the cable to the light bar through the bulkhead? There's a rubber seal on the bulkhead left hand side, accessible from the panel below the passenger side dash, can I use this? How would I go about sealing this?
I'm thinking maybe I should post some pics, as soon as I figure out how...

The G4's ran the cables through the snorkel, I just cabled tied on my 06, but not sure what I am going to do on the MY13, I don't have a snorkel yet.

I want to have the option to remove the rack (all though I may never do it).

I could run a couple of high current feeds to the roof rack, and low curent switch connectors and mount the relay pack under the roof rack in an water resistant box, but it would be a PITA to trouble shoot. "Rafiki" 2007 110 STW - Rolling rebuild.

Yours is a very similar arrangement to my own. I decided to keep everything in one place and mounted the whole 'kit and kaboodle' in an IP rated enclosure. I also used DIN rail and Wago terminals to prevent soldering and heatshrinking cables but fitted bootlace crimps to go inside the Wago instead. I also dislike the standard automotive relays and sourced DPDT Releco 12v relays as they are so much more versatile with an internal LED to indicate when activated and a test facility to operate the relay without a triggering signal.

Are you an electrician by chance? I am and mine looked worse than yours. Laughing Reminds me of the fact most builders houses look like a building site.

Any idea what is the color of wire that goes to "+12V dash illumination" to tdci ?
Can I connect it direct to +12V battery instead of dash?

Don't connect it to "+12V Battery" - otherwise the switch will be permanently illuminated.

The dash illumination on a Tdci is - Red/Orange (Red with an Orange trace)

This can be picked-up at an adjacent switch, or from circuit header C0286 (on a LHD vehicle) behind the centre dash facia.
