Got the Galvanized winch bumper back from the powder coaters last week so fitted the bumper and winch on Sunday.

Winch is the new Warn Zeon 12 https://www.warn.com/truck/winches/ZEON_12.shtml They have done away with the grub screw to hold the cable on. Now they have a 'loop the cable through the drum and wedge' system.

Hi Andrew

Just fitted my Mantec bumper, ready for the Zeon 12 tomorrow... I notice you've got a Shadowline rope? Did it come with a loop end for the wedge? I think I've been supplied with the wrong type as mine has a grub screw type. I assume I'm rig Rolling with laughter but your confirmation would be useful. And finally where did you get the replacement rope?

Matt

FYI see a pic from the tinternet that I have edited, the red lines show the route of the rope the blue is the wedge.

My rope was supplied by Devon 4x4 its described as "ENGLISH BRAID 12mm ROPE 100ft" The fixing end is plain, heat sealed then has electrical tape wrapped around the tip.

I would fit yours as shown above as long as the grub screw fixing clears the wedge, or cut it off with a hot knife and tape the end.
