Non OE Wheel size & warrantry
Having bought a set of 255/85s, I've been told by someone that fitting larger than the 235/85s my Puma came with, would invalidate warranty due to gearing & other calibrations being affected. Is this true? Am I doomed to Grabbers for another year? (my Puma May 2008) Shocked Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Where would we be without the 'fun police' eh?

With Fekete on this one...They may refuse to road test it...No oily rags in my seat! Happy with that anyway... But in my experience it does not preclude warranty work....

a lot depends on the dealers, how good they are, their knowledge and the relationship with you

Some things LR would kick a stink up over, but most is silly and most is reasonably expected so little LR case there!! Mike

I can't see the dealership being so petty.....my dealer in Ripon even re-calibrated the speedo to match my 285s!

The few that stick on standard tyres are the boys with big willys. Rolling with laughter

I think you should only have waranty if you still use the original tyres. So if you get a second flat you waranty is expired. Mr. Green Roel
