The 90 hardtop with Puma 2.4 is classed as a LGV and the annual tax this year 2014 was £220. This is much more palatable than £400+ Shoot me if I'm slowing you down!

my 57 plate USW is £490 / year - someone came today to pick up a roof rack they had bought from me in their 61 plate USW - his tax is £220.
2 almost identical vehicles - HUGE tax difference TOTALLY UNFAIR - especially as mine is used as a commercial - ply lined -fully loaded with tools etc. Series IIa Lightweight - Long Gone Discovery 1 300Tdi - Sold Defender 110 XS 07MY Utility |

It is unfair, but do you blame the politicians? The civil servant who pushed for this probably has a knighthood by now. A lot of what we suffer comes from gold plating European rules. Britain is rather good at it. (Sorry)E nd of rant. |
