Chuffing delighted
I hope you don't mind me discussing my Evoque, but I picked it up yesterday and have done about 150 miles in it so far and I am thrilled to bits with it. The level of refinement, driving manners and the huge array of special detail gizmos inside have blown me away. A very worth vehicle to share the Land Rover badge in my opinion, even if it doesn't exactly resemble its ancestry.

Thanks guys. If anyone is looking for another car (to compliment the Defender of course) then I couldn't recommend it highly enough so far. It really does have a much bigger and taller feel to it than it looks when on the move and very much feels like you are driving a Range Rover in terms of finish and feel. It drives far nicer than my fathers RR Sport

I can keep quiet no longer, all this talk of evoques on a defender forum.

ITS A GIRLS CAR, NO MAN SHOULD EVER BE SEEN DRIVING ONE !!!!!!

It comes under the same banner as men in convertibles, men in lycra.

When ever i see a man driving one i think he`s in his wifes car or he`s gay.

Now, for the love of god, gentlemen, please, get a grip of yourselves and tell your wives you dont want to drive her car no more !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now let that be an end to this sillyness.............................. LIFE`S TOO SHORT TO DRIVE A BORING VEHICLE

Smilesapart, which engine, & model, did you buy?...Do you have the new 9 sp auto?
Never heard a bad word about Evoque, everybody loves 'em, and they have paid a big, perhaps the biggest, part in JLR's "resurgence".
Looks like a lovely property you have there too!
Cheers, Pickles.

Matt, I think you should come out...and say what you think, rather than sitting on the fence. Razz

I like the Evoque, but it's too expensive, and it's no Defender. I cannot imagine ANY other car giving you the feeling a Defender does. Now left.

Nice motor. I do have a soft spot for them. I did learn today that they have a permanent live in the wing mirror..? 1999 Defender TD5 110
