It's a real shame but I don't think we will see real progress in our lifetimes - there's just too many people and too many fossil fuel reserves.

The irony is that it's one of so-called greener fuels in nuclear that has the potential to annihilate many of us right now.

So really not many choices until we have a new big step forward in technology.
